From April 14 to 17, Assisi will host the latest edition of the Rai Com Screenings, a four-day event dedicated to presenting the extensive production of Italy’s public broadcaster. The showcase spans drama series, TV movies, documentaries, major music and arts events, children’s programming, classic film libraries, as well as entertainment and remake formats. More than 90 buyers from international TV networks and digital platforms will attend to explore the newest titles in Rai’s 2026 global catalog.
Featured Content and Special Guests
A number of high-profile fiction projects will be unveiled, with several leading actors expected in Assisi. Highlights include La ricetta della felicità (Marta & Susanna. The Recipe for Happiness), starring Lucia Mascino and Andrea Roncato; Cagnaz with Guido Caprino; and Una finestra vista lago (Tales of the Lake), featuring Antonio Folletto and Giulia D’Aloia, all set to air soon. These titles join L’altro ispettore (The Other Inspector. Safety First), starring Alessio Vassallo, Francesca Inaudi, and Cesare Bocci, which aired last December. International buyers will also discover recent hits such as L’Invisibile (The Invisible Man), focused on the capture of Matteo Messina Denaro, and the comedy Se fossi te (Sliding Souls), centered on an unexpected identity swap between a CEO and a factory worker.
Upcoming Releases and Catalog Highlights
The program continues with Roberta Valente. Notaio in Sorrento (Roberta Valente. The Delightful Deeds of the Sorrento Sisters) and the crime series La Buona Stella (Stella. Crossing Lines), both scheduled for April, followed by Buonvino. Misteri a Villa Borghese (Detective Buonvino. Murders at Villa Borghese), which aired in May. The lineup also features Il Giudice e i suoi assassini (The Judge and his Killers), telling the true story of Judge Livatino, and the dark fantasy youth film Incanto (Enchantment). Throughout the event, participants will be able to explore the strength of “Made in Italy” content, increasingly valued on the international market. With a catalog of 4,000 titles, including 700 classic films and over 8,000 hours of television, Rai Com confirms its role as a leading global content distributor.

The Screenings serve as a key meeting point for more than 30 major partners involved in the worldwide distribution of channels such as Rai Italia, Rai 1, Rai 2, Rai 3, Rai News, Rai Storia, and Rai Scuola. The event aims to reinforce existing collaborations and build new partnerships with public broadcasters and industry players around the world, strengthening the cultural connection between Italy and its global communities. The event will take place at the Palazzo di Monte Frumentario, located in the historic center of Assisi.
Rai Libri Book Presentations
In collaboration with Rai Umbria, Rai Com will also host public book presentations at the Sala della Conciliazione in Piazza del Comune. On Tuesday, April 14 at 6:00 PM, Bruno Luverà and Vincenzo Mollica will present Amo le triglie di scoglio – Andrea Camilleri si racconta, offering insights into the life of the creator of Inspector Montalbano. On Thursday, April 16 at 6:00 PM, Rai 1 host Beppe Convertini will present his book Il Paese delle tradizioni, focusing on Italian heritage.
