Camper, on the roads of Calabria, from July 29 to August 2 on Rai 1

The journey of the Camper family, hosted by Marcello Masi, continues with a stop in Calabria from July 29 to August 2. Monica Caradonna will explore Calabria’s culinary delights, tasting specialties from Sila, such as the humble bean in Cosenza, citrus fruits and prized oil in Reggio Calabria, and local wines in the Crotone area. She will also delve into the renowned local flours near Catanzaro. Lorenzo Branchetti will showcase some of the region’s most picturesque villages, including Badolato in Catanzaro, Pentedattilo in Reggio Calabria, and San Giovanni in Fiore, Morano Calabro, and Cariati in the Cosenza area. Elisa Silvestrin will highlight some of Italy’s most beautiful beaches, visiting Sellia Marina, Caulonia, and Le Castella, as well as the Lakes of Sibari and Lake Arvo in Cosenza. Trail expert Francesco Gasparri will explore the Sila Lakes, the Valli Cupe trail, and the Jonio-Tirreno trail. Valentina Caruso will journey along the Basiliano path and the Parks cycle path, crossing the Pollino area. Annalisa Baldi will bring to life the magic of folk traditions, attending the Magna Grecia Film Festival in Catanzaro Lido and the Premio Letterario Caccuri. This program is produced in collaboration with the Region of Calabria.
