Sixty-five buyers from various corners of the world join Rai Com for Rai tv series and films showcase, featuring an exclusive event tailored specifically for students Rai Porte Aperte (Rai Open Doors)

Throughout the three-day event, spanning from Wednesday, April 17th to Friday, April 19th, Rai Com will unveil its latest offerings in TV drama series, movies, documentaries, music and art events, and children’s programming. Joining Rai Com in Palermo will be sixty-five buyers representing major international players from Europe, Australia, Japan, the Middle East, and the Far East. This Screenings event is made possible through the active participation and support of the Palermo Municipality. The Rai Com 2024 lineup once again shines a spotlight on Italian fiction productions, featuring titles like Gerri, Marconi, Kostas, Libera, and NUR, alongside recent hits such as Il Clandestino, La lunga notte, Imma Tataranni – Sostituto Procuratore, Le indagini di Lolita Lobosco, Mina Settembre, Vincenzo Malinconico, I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone, Cuori, and many others. Notably, Rai Com’s catalog includes the enduring global success of Il Commissario Montalbano, which has captivated audiences for over two decades, as well as Il Paradiso delle Signore, distributed in more than seventy countries. The Screenings event will kick off at Villa Igiea on Wednesday, April 17th, with a video presentation showcasing Rai’s products. Subsequent days will feature guided tours of Palermo’s most picturesque locations for international guests. On Thursday, April 18th, sessions will be held at Palazzo Chiaramonte, the esteemed venue of the University of Palermo situated in the city’s historic center. With a vast library boasting 4,000 titles, including over 600 films, 700 classics, and over 8,000 hours of television content, Rai Com stands as one of the leading global providers for broadcasters and distribution companies. During the Palermo Screenings, Rai Com is hosting a special event, Rai Porte Aperte, at the Galleria D’Arte Moderna. This three-day event offers students the opportunity to explore TV professions alongside industry professionals working on Public Service programs. Inside the Isgrò Hall of the Gallery, a fully-equipped television studio will be set up, allowing students of all ages to engage in hands-on learning experiences in radio and television production.
