After an elaborate first day, the three-day immersive experience of exclusive and in-depth meetings with prominent figures from various digital and creative sectors continues on Saturday, November 11th, with another rich schedule of events.
The second day of ADE – Apulia Digital Experience is focused on various industrial themes withing the audiovisual, art, and media sectors. The dynamic world of animation will be discussed through the perspective of two attractive poles for the innovation of the sector: the Puglia Region and the United Kingdom. A comprehensive overview of tax incentives, financing opportunities, and success stories, exploring the synergies and differences that make these markets unique and competitive in the international landscape. Topics will run from the analysis of the future of Italian visual effects in the global industry, to discussing on brand storytelling in the era of the metaverse and how digital is revolutionizing the world of art.
The conference schedule will conclude with the Digital Licensing Excellence Awards, the world’s first award dedicated to digital licensing, an initiative by Licensing International and Licensing Italia designed to highlight new developments in brand presence, in digital spaces.
Among the finalists, Rainbow will launch in preview the Winx Club – Avator Creator App, Sanrio will present the game Hello Kitty Happiness Parade, and the Italian startup Mash&Co will introduce its namesake App. Great anticipation for the three virtual influencers finalists: real avatars that simulate the behaviors and communication styles of flesh-and-blood influencers.
Rai Cinema and Giro d’Italia will both present their own metaverse project, in addition to the two native digital brands CoComelon and Blippi, managed in Italy by Maurizio Distefano Licensing.
Other presentations from finalists, the Puglia-based company Kabum with Vera Wise, Buzzoole with the Virtual Influencer Zaira, Brazilian company Leghatum with the virtual version of Khaby Lame, the Italian-Senegalese influencer most followed in the world.
Sessions of the day will end at AncheCinema in Bari (at 7:30pm, free admission), where Kid Santa’s director Francesco Cinquemani will present the film in international preview.
The film, produced by Minerva Pictures Group, written by Mario Bellina and Andrea Fazzini, stars Alec Baldwin, William Baldwin, and Elva Trill. Kid Santa is set during the Christmas season: Santa Claus is more stressed and irritable than usual. One night, Santa falls asleep in his office and in the morning wakes up in the body of a child. Little Santa, with the help of his brother Horacio and his niece Peggy, will try to find a way to switch into an adult again. In the process, Santa rediscovers the true Christmas spirit and uncovers who is trying to sabotage Christmas.
