Countdown to Sanremo, anticipation mounts in the city as the music contest gets nearer

The excitement of the competition, the magic of the music, the energy of the festival.From the Ariston Theatre and the big-name artists to the large stage erected in Piazza Colombo, heart of the “Between the stage and the city” initiative, from the Palafiori to the Casino, Sanremo is ready for the 73rd iteration of the song contest that has made the city famous all over the world. The Rai production machine is also in full swing, ready to bring the Festival into our homes from 7 to 11 February. It will be covering the event and all the razzmatazz with its television, radio and RaiPlay channels. Accompanying artistic director Amadeus in the theatre will be 1987 Festival winner Gianni Morandi. Alongside them will be Chiara Ferragni, Francesca Fagnani, Paola Egonu and Chiara Francini. On the stage located outside the Ariston there will be performances from artists of the calibre of Piero Pelù, Nek and Francesco Renga, Achille Lauro, Annalisa and La Rappresentante di Lista. The stars of the 2023 Festival will be greeted by thousands of fans from all over Italy, determined to meet, or even just grab a selfie, with their favourite singers.
