“Infinito. L’universo di Luigi Ghirri”. Matteo Parisini’s documentary at the Arca International Film Festival 

The documentary that examines the work of Luigi Ghirri, pioneering master of Italian photography, crosses the ocean to be screened, on Saturday 7 January, at the Arca International Film Festival in Uruguay. Directed by Matteo Parisini, “Infinito. L’universo di Luigi Ghirri” retraces the key moments in the life of the Reggio Emilia photographer through his shots and writings. A journey through the places that inspired the artist, a study of lands, water, hills, infinite horizons, from the Via Emilia to the River Po. There are also contributions from artists Franco Guerzoni and Davide Benati, art historian Arturo Carlo Quintavalle, printer Arrigo Ghi, photographer Gianni Leone, musician Massimo Zamboni and the Ghirri family.
