This June, Novecento – The Movies expands its catalog with a selection of timeless classics that have shaped the legacy of Italian and European cinema

Among the month’s highlights are La Tosca (1973), directed by Luigi Magni and brought to life by the remarkable performances of Monica Vitti, Gigi Proietti, and Vittorio Gassman; Il Gattopardo (1963), Luchino Visconti’scelebrated masterpiece starring Burt Lancaster, Alain Delon, and Claudia Cardinale; and Peur sur la Ville (1975), Henri Verneuil’s gripping thriller featuring Jean-Paul Belmondo.

The June lineup also includes OK Connery (1967) by Alberto De Martino, starring Neil Connery, Daniela Bianchi, and Adolfo Celi; Piedino il questurino (1974), directed by Franco Lo Cascio and featuring Franco Franchi; Romolo e Remo (1961) by Sergio Corbucci, with Steve Reeves and Virna Lisi; and Mezzanotte d’amore (1970), directed by Ettore Fizzarotti and starring Al Bano alongside Lino Banfi.
