Sordi, Totò, Nuti, Pavone: February Highlights for Novecento – The Movies, the Cinema that Defined an Era

A journey through comedy spanning the 1950s to the 1980s: six new titles arrive this February on Novecento – The Movies.

The selection ranges from Totò Cerca Pace (1954) directed by Mario Mattoli featuring Totò and Isa Barsizza to Rita, la Figlia Americana (1965) directed by Piero Vivarelli which stars the “Prince of Laughter” alongside Rita Pavone. Also featured are Mi permette, babbo! (1956) directed by Mario Bonnard starring Alberto Sordi and Aldo Fabrizi, and W Le Donne (1970) directed by Aldo Grimaldi starring Little Tony.

Rounding out the month are La settimana Bianca (1980) directed by Mariano Laurenti starring Bombolo and Enzo Cannavale, and Son Contento (1983) directed by Maurizio Ponzi starring Francesco Nuti and Barbara De Rossi. This on-demand channel, curated by Rai Com, is available on Prime Video.
