The documentary Amor d’Umbria will air on Thursday, December 11th during the afternoon edition of Geo on Rai 3.

Amidst the green Umbrian hills, the production of extra virgin olive oil represents a flagship product. The microclimate due to the presence of Lake Trasimeno, in Montecolognola, allows for the cultivation of a particular species, the Dolce Agogia. The emotional journey of Amor d’Umbria, airing on Thursday, December 11, on “Geo” on Rai 3, leads the viewer to discover an extraordinary oil, a fundamental ingredient for Mediterranean cuisine, and a territory of rare beauty, rich in a thousand surprises.

The documentary gives voice to the President of the “Strada dell’Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva DOP Umbria” Association, Paolo Morbidoni, and accompanies us to the discovery of splendid medieval villages that make craftsmanship, starting with ceramics, their strength. Francesca and Aran from Spello, in the province of Perugia, tell their artisan story, making this art their life’s work.

The documentary is produced as part of the agreement between Rai Com and the Umbria Region.
