Novecento – The Movies pays tribute to Eduardo De Filippo with a special selection of three films that honor his legacy

Forty years after his passing, Novecento The Movies commemorates the iconic Neapolitan actor, playwright, and director Eduardo De Filippo, who died on October 31, 1984. Curated by Rai Com and available on Prime Video, this on-demand channel presents a selection of his works: the comedy Ferdinando I re di Napoli, directed by Gianni Franciolini, where Eduardo portrays the character of Pulcinella; Cortile, a drama by Antonio Petrucci; and Il giorno più corto, a parody by Sergio Corbucci.
