On March 14, Rai 1 will broadcast in prime time, also available on Rai Play, the TV movie Folle d’Amore – Alda Merini dedicated to one of the most important voices of the 20th century, poetess Alda Merini. Starring Laura Morante, Federico Cesari, Rosa Diletta Rossi, Giorgio Marchesi, Sofia D’Elia and Mariano Rigillo, the film directed by Roberto Faenza is the portrait of a contemporary icon, capable of making inroads with readers and winning over the general media public. A journey through the different moments of Alda Merini’s existence, from psychic discomfort to motherhood, from impossible love affairs to access to culture and fame. 
Composing, orchestrating and directing the soundtrack is musician Dimitri Scarlato for Edizioni Musicali Rai Com. The album is available on digital platforms.
