The Carosone Award, created and curated by Federico Vacalebre, journalist and official biographer of Renato Carosone, will be broadcasted on Rai 2, on December 14 evening. From the Madre Museum in Naples, Federico Vacalebre will explain the meaning of the Prize that, since its first 2022 edition, is dedicated to the interpreters and ambassadors of the Maestro’s repertoire, including new talents now great protagonists of Italian music, from Sergio Cammariere, Stefano Bollani, Checco Zalone, Alessandro Siani, Andrea Sannino, Giovanni Allevi and Simone Cristicchi. This year, Enzo Avitabile, Clementino, Gigi D’Alessio, Rocco Hunt, Marisa Laurito, Peppe Servillo & Solis String Quartet will attend the ceremony. The program is produced within the framework of the agreement with Rai Com – financed by the Campania Region – through Scabec with POC 2014-2020 funds.
