South Tyrol, from the origin of the region

From mountain legends to Ötzi, the famous mummy preserved in Bolzano which was discovered in September 1991. Hosts Francesco Gasparri and Valentina Caruso continue their exploration of Italy’s roots with tv program Origin, broadcasted on Rai 2, December 3 at 3pm, and on Rai 1, December 9 at 11:25am. The episode of the program will start with the Krampus, the floats with masked devils that parade in Tramin on the eve of St. Nicholas. Francesco and Valentina will then move to the Archaeological Museum and the Mummy Museum in Villandro, on the trail of Ötzi, one of the most  important mummy in the world that was found at an altitude of 3000 meters, on the Giogo Alto Glacier where he spent the last days of his life. This contribution falls under a license agreement between Rai Com and the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.
