Roberto Genovesi appointed director of Rai Libri, Marco Frittella appointed director of Communications and Institutional Relations

Roberto Genovesi is the new director of Rai Libri replacing Marco Frittella, who moves as Head of the Rai Com Communications and Institutional Relations office.

Since 1987, Roberto Genovesi is a professional journalist who started working for Rai in 2005. He is a screenwriter, writer and university lecturer with an extensive career at l’Espresso and Panorama, the Osservatore Romano and Il Giornale. Member of the Media and Minors Committee for several years, Roberto Genovesi teaches theory and technique of interactive multimedia languages in several public and private universities. Genovesi is the artistic director of Cartoons on the Bay, International Festival of Animation, Transmedia and Meta-Arts.

Marco Frittella is a journalist who joined the state tv public service in 1987 for a career in the political newsroom of Rai TG1, and where he held all positions including anchor and political commentator. Marco Frittella also has a career as professor at the Rome University of Tor Vergata and at the School of Broadcast Journalism in Perugia. Former Director of Rai Libri and author of several essays on cultural heritage and climate change, he is the new Head of the Rai Com Communications and Institutional Relations office.
