Lino Zani, Margherita Granbassi and Gian Luca Gasca on the road again, this week to Castelsaraceno and territory.Castelsaraceno is located in the Potentino area, which lies between the Pollino National Park and the Apennine National Park Lucano-Val d’Agri Lagonegrese that recently received the «Bandiera Arancione» (Orange Flag) Award from the Italian Touring Club for its stunning beauty. The village is at the crossroads of numerous trails that unravel through lush nature. At a slow pace the visit will proceed to the old Mancuso Mill, witness of the area’s ancient agricultural and industrial times, to reach the little church of the Frusci contrada in the woods where the Madonna is worshipped. Among the top touristic attractions of the region is the Tibetan bridge over crossing the great Raganello River canyon, a 586-meter-long structure that can be passed through in half an hour, at a height of 80 meters.The tv program, airing on July 22sd at 13:00 on Rai 1, is produced under the license agreement between Rai Com, the Municipality of Castelsaraceno and the CAI (Italian Alpine Club).
