Novecento The Movies, Il Gattopardo/The Leopard is the most popular film on the channel

Novecento – The Movies is an on-demand channel edited by Rai Com that offers all of the Italian cinema that made history, available on Prime Video.

The Leopard takes us back to the Risorgimento period to watch the portrait of a Sicilian aristocracy that in the midst of Garibaldi’s uprisings tries to adapt to political and social changes. 

Directed by Maestro Luchino Visconti, among the cast actors as famous as Burt Lancaster, Alain Delon and Claudia Cardinale. The film, that received the Palme d’Or at Cannes in 1963, is the most watched film on the Novecento – The Movies channel since the programming was launched.
