Sanremo kicks off with Amadeus, Gianni Morandi and Chiara Ferragni 

The songs, the artists, the guests. An audience of millions. The 73rd Italian Song Festival will get underway this evening, live from Sanremo’s Teatro Ariston. Presenting will be Amadeus, flanked by co-hosts Gianni Morandi and Chiara Ferragni. Fourteen of the competition songs will be performed accompanied by the Festival orchestra, with an equal number of songs presented on Wednesday. First on stage will be Anna Oxa. Also playing a starring role at the event is the Region of Liguria which, thanks to an agreement with Rai Com, will be promoting the beauty of its territory during the Festival.
