Novecento – The Movies, Lollobrigida the most viewed

Seventy years after she first appeared on the big screen, the intriguing La Bersagliera continues to make us smile, proof that Gina Lollobrigida’s legendary status remains firmly intact and unaffected by the passing of time. Over the last week “Bread, Love and Dreams” and “Bread, Love and Jealousy” by Luigi Comencini, the pictures that made the Roman actress a household name, were the most viewed films on “Novecento – The Movies”, the Rai Com on-demand channel on Prime Video that brings era-defining cinema into our homes and onto our devices. In February ten more films will be added to the 150 classic titles available, including François Truffaut’s “The 400 Blows”, Carlo Vanzina’s “Il ras del quartiere” and Franco Zeffirelli’s “Young Toscanini”.
