Loren, Totò, and Giannini lead the April lineup of “Novecento – The Movies”

From adventure and action to comedy, the films that shaped an era take the spotlight on Novecento – The Movies, the on-demand channel curated by Rai Com for Prime Video. This month’s selection features Africa sotto i mari (1953) directed by Giovanni Roccardi, starring Sophia Loren, Steve Barclay and Umberto Melnati, as well as I due colonnelli (1962)  directed by Steno, with Totò and Nino Taranto. The lineup also includes Rio Negro (1960) directed by Marcel Camus, with Elga Andersen and Lourdes De Oliveira, Spara forte, più forte… non capisco! (1966) directed by Eduardo De Filippo, Stasera mi butto (1967) directed by Ettore Maria Fizzarotti, starring Giancarlo Giannini with Franco Franchi and Enrico Montesano, and L’uomo della strada fa giustizia (1975) directed by Umberto Lenzi, featuring Claudio Gora and Luciana Paluzzi.
